project teams on an as-need basis. Brad Atchison, B.Sc. (Honours
with Distinction), M.Sc., P.Mgr., CMC, is a career management consultant
and President/Managing Director of ATCHISON McTAVISH Management
Consultant Ltd., with 32 years in human resources management, including
24 years in management consulting, particularly in planning facilitation
(e.g., directional, strategic, business, and operational), operational
troubleshooting, management / organizational / operational efficiency
and effectiveness reviews, financial "look-sees", organizational
design, training needs analyses, course design and instruction /
facilitation, training program evaluation, entrepreneurship and
new venture analysis, small business management, and economic development
strategies for "communities in distress".
He has been
a university and college researcher and professor in Vancouver,
Montreal, Edmonton, and Victoria. He started his business career
by carrying out a large-scale restaurant feasibility study for the
CEO of a construction management and land development company. Subsequently,
Brad set up a new consulting division and, then, an entire management
consulting firm for the management consulting affiliates of two
chartered accountancy practices based in Edmonton.
For the past
20 years, he has been the President of ATCHISON McTAVISH Management
Consultants Ltd., a management and research consulting firm in B.C.
and Alberta. He has project-managed hundreds of diverse and significant
assignments in the following economic sectors:

professional services; owner-managed businesses; tourism /
recreation / hospitality; and education / training);
